Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, and PALS. Preferred certification is CPI, which can be attained onsite if not already held.

Must-Have:
Level II Trauma experience is required.
Epic charting experience is necessary.

Description:

This position is an urgent backfill starting on March 23, 2026.
The role will accommodate a schedule of 4 twelve-hour shifts or 48 hours per week.
Every other weekend commitment is required.
The nurse may float to the emergency department observation unit as needed.
The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4.
Daily patient visits average around 237, and the unit has a total of 75 beds.
The nurse will care for adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics with various emergency medical needs.
Key skills required include management of dysrhythmias, central line care, IV management, and triage.
Flu vaccines are mandatory with no accepted exemptions.
Candidates must be responsive and provide timely compliance documentation.
This role requires the ability to handle acute and complex medical conditions in a fast-paced environment.
Modules related to the role will be part of the orientation process and ongoing annual requirements.
