Description:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Operating Room.
The position requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
The schedule will be flexible and may change weekly based on the needs of the unit.
On-call duties are expected 2-3 days per month, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Preferred charting experience includes Epic.
The unit provides support from interdisciplinary teams, including interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy.
Patients will include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, with a daily census of approximately 40.
Successful candidates must adhere to the requirement of receiving a flu vaccine, with no exemptions accepted.
Special procedures performed in this unit include neurology, oral surgery, ENT, orthopedics, general surgery, bariatrics, urology, GYN, vascular, robotics, plastics, dental, and podiatry.
Key pieces of equipment utilized include the Intuitive Da Vinci XI, Neptune, electrical surgical unit, smoke-free cautery devices, Stryker video tower, tourniquet, Cori orthopedic robot, and Olympus endoscopy tower.
