The primary objective of this position is to assure the delivery of comprehensive, safe, effective, cost‑effective, and appropriate nursing care for patients across the age continuum in accordance with established hospital policy and nursing practice standards. Under minimum supervision, you will direct and/or provide professional nursing care for an assigned group of patients ranging from 4 weeks to geriatric age. You will employ the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to guide or provide nursing care, supervise and guide other team members, and, in the absence of the manager, make decisions affecting the inpatient unit.

- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required
- Current and active RN license in the State of North Carolina required
- Proficient in written and verbal English communication
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire; ACLS and PALS within six months of employment
- Minimum one year of medical and/or surgical nursing experience required
- Charge nurse experience preferred
