This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a New Graduate Nurse at Duke University Hospital, located in Durham, NC. The New Graduate Nurse will provide direct patient care, including monitoring health conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality medical care. The nurse will document care accurately, educate patients and families about care plans, and ensure effective communication to prioritize patients’ safety and well‑being.

- Strong clinical skills such as patient assessment, medication administration, and monitoring health conditions
- Basic knowledge of patient education, discharge planning, and understanding of care plan implementation
- Outstanding teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills within interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Critical thinking, problem‑solving, and prioritization abilities to ensure quality patient care
- Flexibility and adaptability to learn and grow in a fast‑paced healthcare environment
- Current or eligibility for registered nurse (RN) licensure in the state of North Carolina
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with a commitment to enroll in a BSN within a specified timeframe
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required;
