Engineering Consultant – Carpe Carpe

Overview

We are seeking an experienced process engineering consultant to support a short-term manufacturing investigation for a high-volume antiperspirant/deodorant lotion (~30M units annually) produced across multiple contract manufacturing sites. The project will focus on process mapping, DOE design, identifying critical process parameters, and defining a repeatable manufacturing window across sites to ensure consistent product structure and performance.

• Perform process mapping across contract manufacturing sites to identify sources of variability and opportunities for standardization.
• Design and execute DOE studies to characterize process parameters and their impact on product quality and performance.
• Identify critical process parameters and define a repeatable manufacturing window to ensure consistent product structure and performance across sites.
• Collaborate with facilities, quality, and operations teams; provide production-scale troubleshooting support as needed.

• Hands-on experience in personal care or cosmetic manufacturing, with familiarity in structured emulsions, rotor-stator homogenization systems, and production-scale troubleshooting.
• Project-based engagement expected to run approximately 8–12 weeks, with potential on-site support at manufacturing facilities.
