Overview
Sr. Fulfillment Specialist at GE Aerospace. The Program Fulfillment Leader will demonstrate accountability for function, business, and strategic objectives. In the role, you will coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and within departments) according to production schedules. You will plan and schedule material/production needs via collaboration with manufacturing programs and shops as part of the larger integrated product team and communicate across the supply chain to ensure alignment on material needs/constraints.

- Engage with supply chain and manufacturing programs to compliantly drive critical part delivery and allocation calls.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure short term execution as well as longer term planning to ensure capacity to meet business need in future quarters.
- Manage material processes and systems to provide accurate signals, including data cleanliness requirements (removal of defects/inaccuracies).
- Work with warehouse for incoming hardware to ensure part tracking and allocation is accurate in systems.
- Understand system processing at the fulfillment horizon to align to program needs.
- Review waterfalls and open orders to manage shortages while building strong relationships with internal supplier management teams.
- Communicate program needs clearly and concisely to drive results at internal and external source locations.
- Work with warehouse teams (Erlanger or CPLC) to ensure material flow and kitting to align to build plan.
- Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs.
- Understand inventory transactions and their impact on the MRD signal to optimize inventory and process improvements.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Use prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
- Collaborate with internal sourcing management teams and assembly teams to mitigate work-stops while reducing delinquency to achieve 100% on-time delivery (OTD).
- Understand how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
- Use judgment and propose different solutions outside of set parameters. Use prior experience and on-the-job training to solve tasks. Access to technical skills and analytic thinking to solve problems. Utilize multiple sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
- Lead and own several process and standard work improvement projects each year.
- Manage and execute problem solving standard work processes including organizing an action planning team, refining problem statements, and measuring solution progress.
- Be knowledgeable at all levels of responsibility and able to train direct reports.
- Should be able to cover all managers’ job responsibilities when they are out with minimal hand-off expectations.
- Required:
Bachelor s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in material planning, fulfillment, supplier delivery, or manufacturing operations) + 5 years of material planning, fulfillment, supplier delivery, or manufacturing operations.
- Experience working in or directly with manufacturing facilities.
- Aptitude in GE materials systems: CAS, Oracle, FOA, AOA, AMT, etc.
- Strong oral and written communication - able to deliver clear and concise messages to drive outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Proven analytical and organizational ability.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and resolve challenges simultaneously.

- APICS CPIM Certification is a plus.
- Production control and materials control manufacturing or operation experience.
