About the Hiring Group The newly created marketing group is a strategic, enterprise-wide organization responsible for shaping and executing RTI’s marketing strategy to drive growth across both Public and Commercial sector and will oversee the following functions:
Brand Strategy and Positioning Digital Marketing and technology Content Marketing and thought leadership Customer engagement Account based Marketing and marketing operations What You”ll Do In this role, you will partner and collaborate closely with Corporate Affairs where ownership of public relations, internal and executive communications and crisis management resides, ensuring alignment across all client-facing channels. You will be responsible for building and leading a world class marketing organization that leverages cutting edge AI and digital technologies to drive brand, customer engagement and revenue growth.
To be successful in this role, you will have a blend of strategic leadership, marketing expertise and a deep understanding of how to harness data and technology to deliver measurable business impact.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of RTI’s enterprise-wide marketing strategy to drive growth across public and commercial sectors, aligning initiatives with institutional goals and market dynamics. Serve as a strategic partner to Growth, Solutions, and Executive leadership, ensuring marketing strategies are integrated, responsive, and positioned for measurable impact. Provide enterprise leadership across brand positioning, event strategy, and RTI’s digital presence, including the external website, to reinforce reputation, reach, and visibility.
Develop and lead a forward-looking, proactive strategy that builds RTI’s presence as a mission-driven organization and trusted thought leader. Direct the work of core marketing sub-functions, including Promotion & Engagement Campaigns, Marketing Operations & CEP Client Data, Content Development & Website, and Conferences & Events. Leverage emerging technologies, including AI, predictive analytics, marketing automation, and dynamic content tools, to deliver personalized, data-driven engagement ve the development and execution of an integrated thought leadership and content strategy, amplifying RTI’s scientific expertise through white papers, webinars, conferences, and media engagement.
Build and operationalize a marketing performance framework, integrating dashboards, KPIs, and real-time analytics to measure marketing ROI and support revenue forecasting. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, media, and strategic partners to elevate RTI’s presence and influence in priority markets. To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Proficiency in developing and managing thought leadership platforms, leveraging research, scientific content, and domain experts to increase visibility and influence in target markets. Strong planning, organization, critical and strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated success in partnering with business development, product, communications, and executive leadership to align marketing initiatives with overall business objectives. Skilled in leading and mentoring high-performing marketing teams, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous learning.
