Base pay range$100.00/hr - $108.00/hr
Contract:
6 months with strong potential to be extended to 1 year. This position will be based on‑site at an operational pharmaceutical facility in RTP, NC and is an on‑site, contract role for an Operational Readiness Project Manager and workstream ensuring the site is ready to receive this change and sustain it within routine production operations.
Mon – Fri, standard work weeks and hours with occasional overtime.
Regular interaction with project teams, contractors, and site operations staff.
Ability to work in an open office environment with frequent distractions, AND within a matrix team is a MUST.

Education4‑year degree in engineering, sciences, project management or other technical field of study
Main Focus- Lead development of action items, risks associated with business process mapping, change impact assessments
- Development of schedules and status updates
- Gathering of status updates on action items, schedule
- Proficiency in MS Project, Smartsheet, Visio, Think Cell or other project management software desired
- Leading business process mappings / process flows (current vs future state) including Visio build outs. Translation into actions for establishing new operational state
- Lead tracking and adherence to plan for documentation updates
- Tracking and leading workstream activities for various operational elements to support operational. Includes leading meetings, capturing meeting notes, actions items, status updates.
- Generation of weekly progress dashboards on work streams
- Assist with schedule build out, gathering weekly status updates, leading work streams to plan. Identification of schedule risks, mitigations.
- Generation, update, status report out of readiness task trackers
- Strategy development supporting functional review sessions and management of these sessions to plan
- Facilitation and ability to lead teams to decisions, actions, risk development in working sessions
- Proven success leading projects or acting in a project management support capacity with 8 or more years of experience
- Familiarity utilizing Project Management Tools based on PMBOK, PMI principles to lead projects
- Experience leading or supporting operational readiness elements of projects desired
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional, matrixed teams
- Organized, and detail‑oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a highly regulated, compliance‑driven setting (pharmaceutical industry).
