Maintenance​/Construction Technician II - DPR

Position: Maintenance/Construction Technician II - DPR60033023
* Demonstrated work experience performing trades in at least two of the following: carpentry, plumbing, electrical and/or auto mechanics.
* Demonstrated experience in performing grounds maintenance/landscaping.
* Demonstrated experience in performing maintenance on buildings, facilities, and grounds maintenance equipment.
* Typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, must be able to work evenings, holidays, and/or weekends when necessary. This schedule may vary.
* Must be able to perform work inside and outside in various environmental conditions
* Must be ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
* Position is considered "Essential/Mandatory Staff" and required to work on adverse weather days, during park emergencies, and may be called to work on special events.
* Must have a valid driver’s license issued from within the United States or be able to obtain one within 90 days of employment.

High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma

* * one (1) year of progressive experience in the assigned trade areas;  
** OR
* * An equivalent combination of education and experience.
