IT Security Administrator

Responsibilities

• Assist in the troubleshooting, refinement and overall management of all existing M365 cybersecurity conditional access, data loss prevention and configuration policies
• Research, propose and implement new security polices as required
• Design, manage and track all cybersecurity training events using company provided tools
• Monitor security alerts and logs across endpoints, servers, and network devices.
• Spearhead the Strata vulnerability mitigation program
• Respond to and verify/investigate all cybersecurity-related alerts and notifications
• Assist in maintaining security patch levels for operating systems, applications and network devices
• Maintain and update security documentation, policies, and procedures.
• Be available to participate in an on-call rotation as required by the cybersecurity manager
• Assist with the monitoring of other security platforms as needed

• A solid understanding of users, devices, policies and log management in the Microsoft 365 security center, Intune and Entra AD is required
• Thorough understanding of Windows operating systems in a networked environment
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts in a business environment
• Solid understanding of Active Directory and the ability to confidently manage ADUC and Group Policy
• Understanding of the importance of deadlines, evidence gathering and attention to detail is mandatory
• Ability to multitask and operate independently

• Candidate should have at least 2-3 years of experience working in an IT department setting with exposure to and familiarity with a robust cyber security program
• Some system administration experience is strongly preferred
• NERC experience is a plus
• Penetration testing experience is desired but not required
• Candidate is expected to have obtained or is in the process of obtaining one or more cybersecurity certifications such as Security +

• Work is performed in an office environment. No work from home is permitted.
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, twist and lift up to 20 pounds.
