Senior Software Engineer (OIPA) – FILI Technology. Are you interested in serving the needs of millions of customers in tax efficient savings, protection and guaranteed income in retirement? Fidelity Investments Life Insurance (FILI) Technology team in Personal Investing is seeking talented engineers to join us in modernizing and building innovative and world‑class experiences, capabilities and platforms in support of this mission.
Responsibilities- 4+ years experience developing policy administration systems using Oracle Policy Administration System (OIPA), including configuration language, integration, AS Files, data intake, database architecture, and data extraction patterns.
- Building OIPA extensions; performing palette and application security implementations; creating screens (policy, roles segment, allocation, and valuation); and release management.
- Implementing design patterns, using UML.
- Test‑Driven Development with JUnit, Jasmine, Karma, and Protractor.
- Using IDEs such as Spring Tool Suite and Eclipse in UNIX and Windows environments.
- Writing SQL queries and debugging stored procedures within an Oracle environment.
- Collaborating in a team, proactive, innovative, and eager to learn.
- Knowledge of Docker and cloud‑computing / cloud services platforms (e.g., AWS or Azure) is a plus. AWS Certification is a plus.
- Bachelor or Master in Technology related field.
- Experience with OIPA, Java and Oracle DB (simple SQL) to fix maintenance issues.
- Expertise in policy administration systems as listed above.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
