IAM SailPoint Engineer with Business Analyst
Location: Durham, NC – HYBRID
Description
:
SailPoint Business Analyst L3 / Technical Analyst
- We are currently seeking a business analyst with good expertise in Identity and Access Management solutions, particularly in implementing Identity Governance systems in the enterprise.
Required Skills
- Business Analysis with 3-5 years of experience with IAM products, ideally Sail Point
- Knowledge of Identity (IAM/IGA/AD, Azure AD, SSO, federation)
- Experience gathering requirements and working with application teams to onboard applications into an IGA system
- Understanding of information security concepts and their application at scale
- Experience onboarding diverse applications into an IGA solution, including provisioning, deprovisioning, granting entitlements, and user access reviews
- Experience with identity automation using Service Now workflows is a strong plus
- Experience leading test programs for identity integration projects
- Understanding of IAM internals such as Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft Authenticator, MIM, Duo, Okta
- Knowledge of procedures, standards, and regulations for authorization, authentication, cryptography, and security vulnerabilities
- Ability to work autonomously and lead projects to completion
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Experience working in a global, collaborative team environment
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as MPOC for business requirements, design, and implementation of IAM systems in the NORAM region.
- Assess and evaluate integrations to resolve complex system issues and meet business/security needs.
- Support the design of organizational, procedural, and technological security controls within global regulatory frameworks.
- Communicate effectively with end users, IT teams, business partners, network providers, and vendors, respecting cultural and technical diversity.
- Translate requirements into clear functional specifications and conduct peer reviews.
- Manage and track requirements throughout the project lifecycle, making adjustments as necessary.
- Communicate changes and updates to stakeholders clearly and effectively.
- Review and analyze existing requirements-gathering processes for improvements.
- Develop standard templates for requirements specifications.
- Maintain Knowledge Base articles related to IGA processes.
