Project Manager, IT Consultant, Systems Analyst

Job Summary

The Senior Project Manager will oversee and manage complex projects within the industrial manufacturing domain & tolling domain ensuring successful delivery through effective planning and execution. This role requires expertise in Sharepoint Jira and project management methodologies with a focus on optimizing processes and achieving strategic objectives. The candidate will work in a hybrid model during day shifts contributing to the companys growth and innovation.

• Lead project planning sessions to ensure alignment with strategic goals and objectives.
• Maintain the Microsoft project plan so that an export can be provided to the client at any time
• Oversee the execution of projects ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Provide guidance and support to project teams fostering collaboration and productivity.
• Monitor project progress using Jira identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and met.
• Utilize Sharepoint for effective document management and communication across teams.
• Implement project management best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Analyze project outcomes to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations within the industrial manufacturing domain.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors to facilitate project success.
• Prepare and present project reports to senior management highlighting achievements and challenges.
• Facilitate training sessions for team members on project management tools and techniques.
• Support the companys mission by driving projects that contribute to innovation and societal impact.
• Responsible for scheduling client-facing meetings
• Responsible for taking meeting notes recording action items saving/uploading recordings as needed.
• Ensure that all meeting artifacts are transferred to the client SharePoint within a day of the meeting
• Work with the Dev QA Infrastructure and Security teams to keep them informed of deadlines and documentation deliverables

• Possess a strong background in project management and Microsoft project plan
• Demonstrate expertise in industrial manufacturing processes and domain-specific knowledge.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Hold a proven track record of successful project delivery within the specified industry.
• Show proficiency in project planning and execution methodologies.
• Have a keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset for problem-solving.
• Display adaptability and resilience in managing complex projects and dynamic environments.

Good to have PMP Certification Certified Scrum Master (CSM)

• The annual salary for this position is between $133,000 – $156,500 + Bonus depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
  This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
