PIC-Front Office Supervisor – Springhill Suites Durham / Chapel Hill

- Supervise front‑office operations, working shifts as required and assisting, training, coaching, and guiding the front‑desk team.
- Interface with previous‑shift supervisors and managers to receive updates on hotel activities.
- Provide efficient check‑in/check‑out service.
- Demonstrate knowledge of hotel property and in‑house events.
- Inform guests about hotel policies, amenities, and services.
- Assist in attaining monthly brand‑standard goals for customer service, employee training, and brand recognition.
- Schedule front‑desk associates, keeping hours within budget and controlling overtime through manpower reporting.
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, dress code policy, and uniform requirements.
- Resolve issues, coach, counsel, and mentor the front‑desk team for high‑quality operations.
- Maintain positive leadership, inspiring team members to exceed standards.
- Oversee flagging of checking in/out procedures and be familiar with all three working shifts, including the Night Audit shift.
- Serve as a role model of expertise, sharing knowledge to inspire the front office team.
- Ensure brand quality standards and requirements are met daily.
- Guarantee security for customers, employees, and property assets.
- Execute additional tasks or duties as assigned by hotel management to support property operation.
- Minimum 1 year of hotel experience.
- Self‑motivated, able to work independently.
- Strong work ethic and desire to succeed.
- Clean background check and reliable transportation.
- Solid basic accounting and math skills, comfortable with computers, excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Availability to work any shift from 7:00 am to 12:00 am and weekends.
