Non-Certified Dispensing Technician

Job Purpose

Durham-based pharmacy part of a regional company is searching for full‑time pharmacy technicians to fill medication orders under the direction of a pharmacist.

• Pull correct medication from the shelf and scan against prescription label for accuracy.
• Package medication in an appropriate container for the correct dispensing system.
• Label medication container with the correct prescription label and any necessary auxiliary labels.
• Replenish medications in emergency boxes accurately.
• Print delivery manifests and place them in the correct delivery tote.
• Lock delivery tote when ready for delivery; ensure totes are loaded to the delivery vehicle.
• Pull stickers for reorder items and forward them to the Inventory Manager.
• Place received stock on shelves accurately.
• Generate reports and labels as required.
• Maintain logs, records and other required documentation accurately.
• Pre‑package and unit‑dose medications for inventory stocking and prescription order dispensing.

• PTCB certification a plus, but not required.
• Applicants with factory line experience preferred.
