Medication Technician (Med Tech) at Calyx Living – assisted living community in North Durham, NC.
ResponsibilitiesAdminister medications, support PCAs by providing personal care services, keep medication administration records up-to-date, communicate with pharmacy, families, residents, and supervisors, chart, provide verbal encouragement to support residents, order/receive medication. Demonstrate a “safety first” attitude toward all residents and staff.
Qualifications- Active North Carolina MT Certification required
- Assisted Living / Skilled Nursing experience a must
- Excellent communication with residents and families
- Compassion, patience and understanding for residents
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
- Supervisory background preferred
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
