Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified
Licensed Psychologist (LP)or
Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA)to conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for children with suspected Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This clinic-based role is ideal for a detail-oriented, empathetic clinician who thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic evaluations for children presenting with possible ASD or related neurodevelopmental conditions
- Analyze assessment results and provide clear, compassionate feedback to families
- Develop and complete high-quality psychological evaluation reports within 7 days of each assessment
- Offer follow-up consultations and recommendations based on diagnostic outcomes
- Serve as a
Licensed Qualified Autism Service Provider (LQASP)per NC Medicaid guidelines - Participate in administrative tasks, quality assurance reviews, and compliance procedures
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and all professional ethical standards
- Collaborate with clinic team members to ensure coordinated and family-centered care
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Clinical Psychology or a related field
- Active North Carolina license as a Licensed Psychologist (LP) or Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA)
- Experience conducting autism evaluations using standardized tools (e.g., ADOS-2, ADI-R, CARS, DISCO, etc.)
- Strong diagnostic reasoning, documentation, and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Committed to maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical conduct
- Previous experience in a clinic setting preferred
