You will:

• Evaluate loan applications and documentation by confirming credit worthiness.
• Deny loans by explaining deficiencies to applicants.
• Approve loans by depositing funds or issuing checks.
• Complete loan contracts by explaining provisions to applicant; obtaining signatures and notarizations; collecting fees.
• Help members by answering questions, responding to requests.
• Maintain member confidence by keeping loan information confidential.
• Assist members with opening accounts, answering questions about products and services, resolving problems within your authority or referring problems that are beyond your authority to your supervisor along with recommendations, both in person and on the phone.
• Provide excellent service to our members and non-members
• Follow procedural and regulatory rules
• Perform a variety of miscellaneous tasks such as filing, computer input and answering the phone.
• You will be required to run a teller cash drawer when the teller line is short staffed.

Experience and education recommended, but not required

• Equivalent of a high school diploma
• Previous Loan Officer or loan processing experience highly preferred
• Previous customer service experience is highly preferred
• Experience in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task
• Employee must be bondable
