Job Responsibilities
Reporting and Analysis:
- Compare actual performance to forecasts, identifying key variance drivers.
- Prepare and analyze volume shipment reports for senior management.
Financial Processes:
- Plan, execute, and enhance quarterly financial forecasting and closing processes.
- Execute monthly and quarterly close activities in accordance with GAAP for various financial aspects (revenue, deductions, trade spending, etc.).
- Ensure accuracy of cost and spending-related accounts on financial statements.
Data Analytics and Insights:
- Utilize data analytics tools (Power Query, Power
BI, Power Automate) for data analysis and visualization. - Identify system improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop insights to drive business decisions and strategies.
Education and Experience
- Undergraduate or Master's degree preferably in business, finance, accounting, economics or equivalent work experience.
- Highly desirable:
Data analytics and/or database/ERP experience
