Position OverviewWe are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Finance Director to lead and oversee all financial operations, ensuring transparency, compliance, and strategic financial management. This role supervises budgeting, reporting to the Board, grants and restricted funds, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, audits, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the annual budgeting process and coordinate with department managers and the Operations Director.
- Review and approve monthly and annual financial reports for the Board of Directors.
- Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, transfers, purchases, and reimbursements.
- Manage financial risks and perform financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
- Coordinate audits and donor/grant reporting.
- Supervise and develop the Finance Specialist.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Preferred:
Master’s or Doctorate in Finance, Business Administration, or related field. - Minimum 5 years of progressive financial management experience, preferably in nonprofits.
- Experience with grants, restricted funds, and reporting to donors.
- Experience working with Boards and Finance Committees.
- Strong skills in financial analysis, budgeting, risk management, financial reporting, accounting/payroll systems (e.g., ADP), and advanced Excel.
- Bilingual:
English and Spanish (B2-C1). - Experience with Arize is a plus.
Salary: $56,317 – $78,844, depending on experience and education.
