We are now taking applications for our 2026 Hospitality Management Internship. Kitty Hawk Kites has been teaching the world to fly since 1974. We sell clothing, kites, watersports equipment, toys—anything you need for your next adventure! KHK operates in 7 states, with over 25 locations along the east coast. As a leading employer on the Outer Banks for over 50 years, Kitty Hawk Kites is hiring a Hospitality Management Intern for 2026. Internships last a minimum of 12 weeks.
Job Duties- Provide excellent customer service in person as well as through email, phone calls, text messages, and online chats
- Know and understand the recreational offerings that KHK offers
- Assist in tasks associated with recreational offerings, including but not limited to:
- Monitoring the Reservations multi-line telephone and voicemail systems
- Ensuring the Reservations system is functioning and interfacing properly
- Diffusing any customer relations issues that arise related to reservations
- Utilize excellent telephone etiquette and customer service skills to promote, inform, and make sales of adventure programs
- Maintaining reservations system with accurate schedule and offerings
- Assist in scheduling and coaching of all Reservations staff
- Other projects as assigned
