About the Role

This application is for a 6-month student role from July - December 2026. Resume review begins in January 2026.

The Maintenance Reliability team support themanufacturingoftherapeuticsthat transformspatients’livesby ensuringaframeworkis in placetomaintainandoptimizecritical equipment and systemstooperatereliablyand efficientlythroughouttheiruseful life.

The Ideal candidate will collaborate with the Maintenance Reliability teamto gatherkeydataforoptimizingthe asset registerinthe CMMSand inventory management system.

They will alsoassistwith end-of-lifeassessments and help analyze equipment performance toidentifyopportunities for reliability improvement.

Thisrole willoffercross-functional collaboration withvariousengineering and technical teams.

Additionally, this role provides exposure tocutting edgebiotechnologyequipment andworld class

Maintenance and Reliability practices.

They willalsogainvaluableexperienceof working in aGMP-regulatedfacilityenhancing their technical and problem-solving skills.

• Work under the supervision of aSnr Reliability Engineer within Biogen’s Maintenance Reliability Team.
• Perform tasks to support the development of the Maintenance Reliabilityframework
• Verify and update equipment attributes

Example projects may include:

• Verification of equipment and inventory status
• Capturing of missing equipment information
• End/Extension of Life

• Proficient in MS office programs & Technical Writing
• Self-Starter withgood communication skills and willingness to learn new skills.
• Attention to detail

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited community college, college, university or skills program/apprenticeship.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineeringor related discipline

Job Level: Internship

The base compensation range for this role is:

- The actual hourly wage offered will consider the candidate’s current academic level and degree candidacy, inclusive of Associate, Bachelor’s, Master’s, JD, MD, PhD and MBA programs. It will comply with state or local minimum wage requirements specific to the job location.
