Our projects include civil site designs for new and renovated parks, playgrounds, athletic fields, sports courts, schools/colleges/universities, buildings, sidewalks, streets and other various types of site plans.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- 4+ years of related experience.
- Perform and/or oversee civil/site design for a variety of projects including parks, playgrounds, athletic fields, sports courts, schools/colleges/universities, buildings, sidewalks and streets.
- Design various site plans, features and details using Civil 3D or other computer aided design software.
- Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography or other topographical or geological data.
- Review existing conditions to identify engineering obstacles and assess potential project impacts.
- Design grades for new site plans and improvements.
- Support field activities for our construction inspection staff, including providing timely data, shop drawing review and client coordination.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of software including, but not limited to Word, Excel, etc.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in North Carolina or ability to get licensed through reciprocity.
- 6+ years of related experience.
- Stormwater design to support various project types.
- Ability to perform hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, as required.
- Proficient in hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Operate under limited supervision.
- Proven ability to multitask, appropriately prioritize workflow and complete tasks on schedule and within budget.
- Experience working with clients.
Within this range, individual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors including skills, experience, education, and training.
