Senior Systems EngineerLocation: Hybrid (NH/DFW/RTP)

Role OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support and enhance large‑scale contact center platforms and communication technologies. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in fast‑paced, highly visible environments and is passionate about automation, performance, cloud engineering, and continuous improvement.
You’ll join a collaborative, agile team responsible for critical voice, email, and chat systems that handle high‑volume enterprise customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, support, and troubleshoot contact center and telephony systems
- Write high‑quality, reliable, scalable, and reusable code
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related automation tools
- Develop containerized applications using Docker/Kubernetes
- Support cloud‑based deployments and infrastructure (AWS or similar)
- Monitor and optimize application performance using APM tools
- Contribute to engineering best practices, security, and operational excellence
- Collaborate within Agile teams to deliver high‑impact solutions
- Take ownership of issues, drive continuous improvement, and lead with innovation
- Uphold high standards of integrity, accountability, and engineering rigor
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 8+ years as a Software, Systems, or Dev Ops Engineer
- Strong experience with contact center platforms or telephony systems
- Proficiency in Java, Python, Ansible, or similar languages
- Expertise with Linux/UNIX and shell scripting
- Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments
- Expertise building Jenkins declarative pipelines and CI/CD workflows
Strong AWS (or equivalent cloud) engineering experience - Advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Self‑starter with curiosity, collaboration mindset, and a drive for continuous learning
- Experience with Genesys Engage or similar contact center platforms
- Familiarity with large‑scale 24x7 enterprise systems
- Background with APM tools and performance diagnostics
