Role contextCan 5-year-olds learn twice as fast as conventional schools teach them—if they're coached effectively? Alpha has already demonstrated this is possible. Our K-2 students complete core academic content in only 2 hours each day through AI-driven adaptive platforms. Your role is not to deliver lectures—it's to coach. You will facilitate dynamic life skills workshops, inspire children to reach their learning targets, and cultivate the mindset and behaviors essential for long-term success.
This is Alpha s most critical position at the world s most forward-thinking school: you directly deliver Alpha s 3 Promises to a small cohort of students and transform their futures.
- Facilitating one-hour life skills workshops for K-2 students, coaching them and reinforcing literacy skills introduced by Reading Specialists
- Inspiring students to progress through adaptive learning applications and meet their weekly academic targets
- Guiding emotional regulation, resilience, and problem-solving through consistent routines and supportive engagement
- Monitoring student development and identifying concerns early, then adapting approaches in partnership with your team
- Building a classroom environment that is structured, engaging, and deeply personalized
- Must be available to work full-time and on-site at our campus in Chicago, IL;
Miami, FL;
Palo Alto, CA;
San Francisco, CA; or Santa Monica, CA - Bachelor s degree in any discipline
- 3+ years of experience working with children ages 4–8 in educational, after school, coaching, or comparable settings
- Strong storyteller and dynamic speaker: capable of capturing and maintaining the attention of young children in group settings
- Capable of maintaining high expectations for yourself and students, and motivating children to achieve their goals
- Growth mindset and receptiveness to coaching
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

Working with usThis is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
