The Deputy Athletic Director/Senior Women’s Administrator provides comprehensive leadership and oversight for key administrative functions within the athletic department, ensuring compliance with institutional, conference, and NCAA regulations. This role is crucial in fostering a collaborative and respectful environment for student‑athletes and staff, managing financial resources, and developing impactful programs.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Collegiate administrative or coaching experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise staff, including interns and graduate assistants.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing successful programs.
- Thorough understanding of NCAA rules and regulations, Title IX, EEO, and student conduct policies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Sports Administration, Higher Education Administration, Business Administration).
- Experience in athletic administration, with a strong background in compliance, financial management, or student‑athlete welfare.

PrimaryResponsibilities and Duties
- Compliance Management: Oversee and monitor athletics department compliance with Title IX, coordinate all gender, diversity and inclusion efforts, and serve as the EEO/Student Rights and conduct liaison.
- Leadership: Manage the institution’s intercollegiate athletics program, serve as a key decision‑maker on the senior management team, support Title IX initiatives, and advocate for student‑athletes, coaches, and staff.
- Program Management: Supervise interns and graduate assistants, administer assigned sport(s), and develop a women’s leadership program to empower female student‑athletes and staff.
- Coordination – Operations: Work closely with the Director of Athletics on day‑to‑day operations, provide administrative support to senior staff, and serve on campus committees representing athletic interests.
- Assist in managing NCAA funds, including tracking spending and preparing reports (SOAF, Academic Enhancement Accounts); oversee and prepare GSR and APR reports; collaborate with Campus Enterprises on budget management and financial audits; and prepare the EADA report.
