Middle School Creative Movement and Dance Teacher and Advisor

Overview

Durham Academy (DA) is accepting applications for a Middle School Creative Movement and Dance Teacher. The Creative Movement and Dance Teacher is a member of the Arts Department and should have knowledge of ballet, contemporary, and jazz techniques and terminology. Strong candidates will have experience with composition, choreography, and creating performance opportunities for students of all skill levels and interests. This permanent full‑time position will be for the 2026‑27 school year.

Duties include teaching four sections of Movement for students in grades 5 through 8 and serving as an advisor to a group of up to 12 students.
