Overview
Join to apply for the 2026 Summer Math Faculty role at Hill Learning Center. Accepting applications until March 31, 2026, or until positions are filled.
Position Details- Training Week: 6/15‑6/18, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Program Weeks: 6/22‑7/24 (except 7/3), 8:10 AM – 12:45 PM
- Duration:
Six weeks (6/15 – 7/24) - Six‑day work week during training; regular 6‑day week during program
During Hill’s Summer Program, summer faculty train in Hill’s methodology, receive mentor support, and collaborate with the administrative team. Faculty are responsible for teaching three classes in a 4:1 student‑to‑teacher ratio following Hill’s designated curriculum. They must:
- Provide formal reporting via emails, conferences, and end‑of‑summer progress reports
- Attend scheduled faculty meetings
- Participate in coaching/mentoring sessions with supervisors
- Attend the evening Parent/Guardian Open House event
- Supervise students outside class as scheduled
- A teaching license is required.
- Passionate about teaching; compassionate, highly organized, flexible, and a natural teacher/leader.
- Preference for:
- Master’s degree in learning disabilities
- Certification in learning disabilities
- Certification in mathematics
- Experience or training with Hill programs is ideal.
Starting at $2,950 for a half‑day position, except for the training week which is paid for four full days. Compensation is commensurate with experience.

It is also approved by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction as an “alternative” school for children with learning disabilities, and its Professional Development Training Program is accredited by the International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council.
