Duke Department of Pediatrics invites applications for a clinical faculty position within the Division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Health as a primary care provider to our diverse population base in North Durham, NC. This position would have an ambulatory primary care practice of pediatric patients in an established academic office with other experienced clinicians.
The Division of Primary Care Pediatrics is dedicated to providing excellent clinical care, training the next generation of pediatricians, advancing our knowledge of ways to improve the health of children, and improving the health of our community. As the largest division within the Duke Department of Pediatrics, we provide expert patient care at Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center and our affiliated locations.
We are dedicated to providing comprehensive well-child and acute care for infant through age 22 or until 23rd birthday. We provide a wide array of high quality, accessible primary, specialized and enhanced health care services for our patients. Our wellness services include immunizations and routine physical examinations, including those required for school, competitive athletics, and camp.
We offer comprehensive care for the entire range of childhood illnesses. All of our pediatricians are members of the faculty at the Duke University School of Medicine and are board-certified. The faculty and staff in the Division of Primary Care Pediatrics constantly work to improve our health care knowledge in order to provide our patients with state-of-the-art care.
Eligible candidates must hold an MD/DO degree and be board-certified or board eligible by the American Board of Pediatrics.
