The Duke University Department of Orthopaedic Surgery seeks a BC/BE, Orthopaedic surgeon to join the Division of Adult Reconstruction. Ideal candidates will be fellowship trained in Adult Reconstruction (primary/revision hip and knee arthroplasty), and also have a strong interest in research and teaching. Specific interest in clinical outcomes research in hip and knee arthroplasty is a plus.
The clinical practice is in Durham, with surgical cases primarily performed at Duke University Hospital, and potentially time at the Durham VA Medical Center. The surgeon will also have access to the Arringdon surgical platform where arthroplasty cases are performed in an outpatient setting.
Call coverage would be in conjunction with Duke Orthopaedic physicians in Durham, currently a practice of 32 surgeons that brings excellence to the greater Durham area with a wide array of orthopaedic services and provides the highest quality continuum of care for patients of all ages. The surgeon hired will also have access to privileges at Duke Regional and Duke Raleigh Hospital.
