Overview
Oculoplastics Physician in Mebane, NC with Duke Eye Center. Duke Eye Center is accepting applications for a full-time oculofacial specialist to provide facial reconstruction, cosmetic surgery, and orbital surgery in our new construction expansion in Alamance County. The physician will have the support of a team of six board-certified clinicians and surgeons whose combined skill and leadership make for a well-rounded and respected group who are committed to training the next generation of oculofacial specialists and providing world-class clinical care.
This position offers a unique opportunity that includes the following:
- Serve our community in our new Duke campus being constructed in Mebane
- Dedicated support staff including ophthalmic tech assistance, Abridge AI scribe and surgical coordinator
- Children’s college tuition assistance

- Clinical Faculty role
The successful candidate will provide facial reconstruction, cosmetic surgery, and orbital surgery as part of a dedicated oculofacial team, participate in clinical care, and contribute to training the next generation of oculofacial specialists. The role is supported by a six-member team of board-certified clinicians and surgeons.
Qualifications- Active NC license
- Willingness and ability to travel between Duke Eye Center locations surrounding Mebane
- Completed an ACGME-accredited ophthalmology residency
- Completed an AUPO-accredited glaucoma fellowship
- Board certification (current or within the first year of hire) is preferred but not required
