Project Architect with a passion for impacting lives, for high quality healthcare design and a positive, collaborative work style, for our expanding Healthcare Studio in our Durham Office
.

The individual selected for this opportunity will be working with nationally recognized clients on projects of varying size and scope, with the opportunity to work with a collaborative team dedicated to advancing breakthrough ideas through design and innovation. The Healthcare team supports our clients through a wide range of both inpatient and outpatient projects.

Project types include, but are not limited to, ground‑up Hospitals and Healthcare Facilities, Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC’s), Free Standing Emergency Departments (FSED’s), Imaging Centers, Interior Clinic fit ups, complex inpatient renovations, equipment / infrastructure replacements, master planning, and more. This position will require a team member that listens to clients and team members while leading projects confidently; one that has a growth mindset, positive attitude, and looks forward to expanding influence within the team and industry.

Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:

- 10+ years of hands‑on experience with Healthcare design and documentation;

- Architectural license required;

- Strong Autodesk Revit proficiency;

- Thorough knowledge of architectural design, detailing, codes, and building material characteristics;

- Thorough understanding of industry standards and building codes, including MEP design and medical equipment requirements;

- Leadership characteristics as well as clear and effective communication skills.
