The NC Department of Health and Human Services seeks contract resources to prepare and provide support for County Child Welfare staff during the implementation of the statewide Child Welfare Information system (CWIS). Working closely with the Readiness Lead, this position will facilitate meetings, conferences, and other activities to advocate for, as well as foster and maintain effective communication with state and county staff regarding CWIS concerns impacting or related to Child Welfare.

This role may coordinate with other CWIS business, policy, and project team members to troubleshoot, replicate, and report errors and/or unexpected outcomes within the CWIS and/or escalate to management as they arise. This position uses policy subject matter expertise regarding NC Child Welfare, knowledge of CWIS/NC FAST functionality, as well as understanding of how counties provide delivery of services to guide new users as they navigate and submit data into the new system.

This position requires significant travel throughout the state.
