The Business Development Manager effectively identifies and pursues new and existing business opportunities, while enhancing relationships with existing clients, and works in conjunction with upper management to develop and respond to new and existing business development opportunities. This role will focus on selling staffing solutions, both Contract and Direct Hire with a focus on the build out of our Scientific Vertical of focus.
This will be a focus on the Greater Raleigh market and will be hybrid onsite in our Raleigh office. Previous Staffing sales experience required and preferred to have life sciences and/or specific Scientific Sales experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain long term client relationships resulting in the expansion of client base, building awareness of our company’s services and generating revenue.
- Uncover immediate needs in our target market through leads and follow ups, executing internal and external initiatives to drive profitable growth.
- Create and participate in sales meetings and presentations.
- Identify and attend key conferences and trade shows to increase company visibility and business opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements.
- Job order intake, vetting and lifecycle management
- Partner with world class recruitment team to ensure the highest level of delivery to our clients.
Education & Experience
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in staffing/recruiting industry
- Minimum of 1 year selling new business within the staffing/recruiting industry
