Senior Accountant

Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join their team in North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Managing and maintaining inventory records and processes.
• Conducting financial reconciliations to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Assisting in evaluating and improving current accounting processes and procedures.
• Providing guidance and support to junior accounting staff as needed.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations.
• Preparing and analyzing financial reports and statements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in accounting or a related field.
• Proven experience in handling oversight of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and financial reconciliations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to evaluate and improve accounting processes effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.

Required Work Hours

The position requires working Monday through Friday.
Benefits

The role offers competitive pay ranging from $38.00 to $41.00 per hour, with minimal travel time required.
