Assistant Project Accountant

Overview

Skanska is searching for a dynamic Assistant Project Accountant. This role supports the project team by maintaining accurate accounting records and assisting with invoice preparation, subcontractor payments, data entry and general payables. The position reports to a supervisor and requires strong organizational and accounting skills.

• Assist with the preparation and submission of invoices for the assigned project.
• Assist with the review and processing of subcontractor applications for payment and general condition invoices.
• Perform data entry, including owner billings, subcontracts, change orders and purchase orders.
• Process payment of general payables.

• 1+ years of accounting experience.
• 1+ years of experience with data processing of invoices, electronic filing, emails, etc.
• General understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Practices and cost accounting.
• Proficiency in software such as MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, etc.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

• Candidate is required to work on-site in an office setting.
• Background check required.
