A career opportunity exists in DURBAN, KWA-ZULU NATAL for the position of:
FLEET CONTROLLERJob Summary
- Oversee all aspects of fleet management (productivity, wages, fuel consumption, route planning, etc).
- Assign and ensure execution of tasks to drivers.
- Track orders and deliveries.
- Constant monitoring of driver and vehicle performance and efficiency & find ways to improve productivity.
- Co‑ordinate vehicle maintenance to ensure the fleet is maintained, including scheduling of services and COF inspections to remain safe and roadworthy.
- Monthly inspections and arrangements for services and repairs.
- Matric
- Computer literate
- Excel (compulsory)
- At least 3 years' experience in fleet management (controller)
- Own transport
- Sober habits
- Willing to work long hours, public holidays, and weekends.
