Qualified Carpenter; Trade Tested

SUMMARY:

We are currently looking Qualified Carpenter (Trade test) to carry out high-quality carpentry work on residential, commercial, or industrial construction sites in line with building plans, safety standards, and project timelines.

• Qualified Carpenter with a recognised Trade Test Certificate
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a construction environment
• Proven experience in formwork, roofing, and finishing carpentry
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Sound knowledge of building regulations and safety standards
• Physically fit and able to work on construction sites
• Valid driver’s licence (advantageous)
• Own basic carpentry tools (advantageous)

• Interpret and work from technical drawings, plans, and specifications
• Construct, install, and repair wooden structures and fixtures, including:
  • Roof trusses and frameworks
  • Doors, windows, and frames
  • Flooring, decking, and staircases
  • Formwork for concrete structures
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials accurately
• Install fixtures and fittings according to building regulations
• Ensure work meets quality, safety, and compliance standards
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely
• Work closely with foremen, site supervisors, and other trades on site
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Identify and report material shortages or defects
• Adhere to project timelines and productivity targets
