We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing, building and maintaining strong relationships with restaurants, hotels, canteens and everything on-con.
Key Responsibilities Customer Acquisition & Retention- Identify, target, and onboard new clients
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers to ensure long‑term partnerships.
- Conduct regular sales calls and site visits to showcase our product offerings.
- Present tailored solutions to meet customer needs and address any challenges.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve mutual satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with the full range of products.
- Provide customers with insights into product usage, benefits, and best practices.
- Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
- Provide feedback to management to adapt strategies and improve offerings.
- Process and follow up on customer orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Liaise with internal teams (warehouse, logistics, etc.) to guarantee high service levels.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and forecasts.
- Prepare and present weekly/monthly sales reports to management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Matric (Grade 12) required; a diploma or degree in sales, business, or a related field is an advantage.
- Proven track record in sales, preferably within the food service, hospitality, or FMCG industry.
- Familiarity with liquor products is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to identify customer needs and provide effective solutions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems.
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory.
