Sales Rep Hardware and Building Materials The vibe
This is not a sit-behind-a-desk sales role. It’s for someone who enjoys being out there, meeting clients, closing deals, and watching numbers grow. You’ll be representing a fast-moving importer and distributor supplying wholesale, retail, and project clients across South Africa.

What you’ll be doing- Finding and winning new customers while growing existing accounts
- Building strong, long‑term client relationships
- Presenting and selling building products, including float glass
- Hitting monthly sales targets and tracking your pipeline
- Preparing quotes, proposals, and follow‑ups
- Keeping CRM records clean and up to date
- Feeding market and competitor insights back to the business
- A Bachelor’s degree
- 2–3 years sales experience (B2B or building materials is a big plus)
- A valid driver’s licence and your own reliable transport (car allowance is given but you must already have a car!)
- Confidence with cold calling, client visits, and negotiations
- Strong communication skills and a target‑driven mindset
