- Apply appropriate sales processes within area of responsibility to achieve sales targets and build client relationships.
- Retrieve all qualified leads from internal channel sales pipeline and make contact with existing or new customers to generate a sale. Source new leads through external contacts and other channels to increase the customer base if required.
- Contact prospective clients and sell appropriate banking products in order to achieve sales targets.
- Deliver the end-to-end client management process through continuous engagement with the client on process milestones, selling the FNB value proposition, facilitating the application process on behalf of the client, preparing the proposal to credit, managing internal dependencies, closing the deal and managing post-sales queries when relevant.
- Analyse competitor information and monitor market trends and influences to identify new business opportunities.
- Track, control, and influence sales activities to achieve previously determined sales targets in line with quality, productivity and sales requirements.
- Maintain expert knowledge on specific products, pricing, application procedures, processing, and timelines to drive and achieve relevant sales targets.
- Understand governance, legislation, and audit requirements and comply accordingly.
- Maximise cross-sell opportunities and strengthen client relationships within the portfolio.
- Demonstrate proactive, innovative, and appropriate solutions to deliver exceptional service that exceeds client expectations.
- Be accountable for personal development to increase competencies.
- Completed a FSCA-recognized FAIS-relevant NQF Level 5 qualification or higher.
- Completed First Level Regulatory Examination.
