Requirements
- Has 8+ years in related finance business development, for example invoice factoring, trade finance or fintech.
- Has a proven track record in b2b sales or loan origination; capable of searching, qualifying and approaching
- cold leads and taking them through a sales pipeline.
- Has a proven track record of promotions and career progression.
- Has hunger, high agency and relentlessness; capable of single handedly taking a new market from 0 to 1.
- Must also be willing to get their hands dirty
- Is an open and honest individual, who believes strongly in integrity and transparency.
Responsibilities
- Lead trade finance deals in the South African market, from client discovery to signed contracts.
- Build a multi-$million book of trade finance facilities.
- Report to the Head of Trade Finance, working on a daily basis with our clients CEO, co-founders and wider team.
- Engage in direct sales to prospective clients.
- In parallel, they will manage a network of introducers, trade bodies and other partners to maintain a constant deal flow and fuel growth.
- Represent our client at trade shows and other industry events
