Telesales Representative

We’re hiring! Join Volt Africa’s dynamic KZN team as our next Telesales Representative.

The successful incumbent must have extensive telesales advertising experience and be highly motivated, results orientated, target-driven and a go-getter with a vibrant personality.

• Cold canvas new business and service existing clients
• Consistently achieve and exceed required sales targets
• Build, maintain, and grow strong client relationships
• Perform sales administration

• Be in possession of a matric certificate or equivalent
• Minimum of five years telesales advertising experience within media/newspaper environment
• Strong market knowledge and insight of SME is a pre-requisite
• Must have proven track record in cold calling & meeting sales targets
• Must have strong administrative skills
• A good understanding of the cross pollination between digital and print
• Computer literate on MS Office (Excel & Word) & Gmail

• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities
• Excellent organising, planning and administrative skills
• Customer service orientated
• Good interpersonal skills
• Team player
• Be able to work well under pressure and can adhere strictly to deadlines
• Work independently with minimum supervision
• Be innovative, self motivated and able to thrive in a pressurized and deadline-driven environment
• Have the ability to liaise at all levels of the business environment
