ABOUT THIS ROLE

Are you a commercially driven, analytical sales professional with a passion for building strong customer relationships in an FMCG environment?

A well-established National FMCG Company is looking for a motivated National Account Manager to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, developing account strategies, and negotiating trading agreements that drive volume, value, and profitability.

You’ll work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams while managing key customer relationships with National Retailers and contributing to broader sales and marketing strategies.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • 🔹 Build strong, long‑term relationships with key national customers
  • 🔹 Negotiate trading agreements, pricing structures, promotional grids, and rebates
  • 🔹 Develop and execute annual Key Account plans
  • 🔹 Ach volume, value, and profitability targets
  • 🔹 Identify new sales opportunities and growth potential within existing Key Accounts.
  • 🔹 Contribute to annual sales and marketing strategy development
  • 🔹 Work closely with internal stakeholders including Sales Ops, BI, Agents, and Marketing
  • 🔹 Apply a data‑driven and analytical approach to account management and decision‑making
  • 🔹 Gain deep understanding of products, brands, and go‑to‑market strategies
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • ✅ Relevant tertiary qualification (Sales, Marketing, Business, or similar)
  • ✅ Experience in Key Account or National Account Management (FMCG preferred)
  • ✅ Strong negotiation, relationship‑building, and communication skills
  • ✅ Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales and market data
  • ✅ Commercially astute with a results‑driven approach
  • ✅ Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams
  • ✅ Highly motivated, proactive, and eager to grow
