Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive trend-driven Accessories Merchandiser to join a leading supplier servicing major South African fashion retail chains. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in fashion accessories product development and merchandising – preferably within an import-focused environment
.

• 23 years experience as a Merchandiser or Assistant Merchandiser –
  fashion accessories preferred
  .
• Experience in import-focused merchandising will be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of retail cycles, product development and supply chain processes.

• Excellent trend awareness and product eye.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills (costings, margins, sales reporting).
• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
• Confident communication skills and ability to work with buyers and suppliers.
• Proficiency in Excel and merchandising systems.
