Job Description RCL Foods is seeking a dynamic and experienced Supervisor to oversee the effective management and coordination of our retail outlet. The successful candidate will drive sales, profitability, operational excellence, and exceptional customer service through effective staff leadership and store management.

Minimum Requirements
  • Matric (Required)
  • Studying toward or completed a relevant post-matric qualification (Advantageous)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar supervisory role
Duties & Responsibilities Stock Control & Store Operations
  • Maintain optimal stock levels through accurate ordering and stock rotation.
  • Ensure store hygiene meets food safety standards and SHEQ compliance.
  • Conduct and manage monthly stock counts and analyse Arch reports.
  • Verify deliveries, investigate discrepancies, and track relevant orders.
  • Identify and report stock losses and gaps.
Pricing & Promotions
  • Communicate promotional products to internal staff to drive sales.
  • Conduct market price surveys to remain competitive.
  • Recommend pricing for stock nearing expiry.
  • Make decisions relating to stock ordering and store stock cover.
Store Administration
  • Manage the store’s Profit & Loss in line with budget.
  • Reduce OPEX year-on-year.
  • Ensure compliance with audit requirements and government legislation.
  • Oversee cash-ups, banking, reconciliation, and buying requisitions.
  • Manage product price changes, opening/closing procedures, and payroll submissions.
  • Create monthly Arch reports to analyse SKU performance.
  • Implement proactive maintenance plans for store assets.
People Management
  • Provide daily guidance and support to team members.
  • Hold weekly team meetings to communicate targets and promotions.
  • Manage leave planning to ensure adequate staffing.
  • Conduct 4 1 performance discussions.
  • Foster a positive team environment that supports staff development.
  • Build strong relationships with factory managers in the region.
