Purpose of Position

To provide age-appropriate patient care according to the nursing scope of practice as defined by the South African Nursing Council (SANC).

• Practice within the scope of practice as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Comply with Hospital Policies and Regulations.
• Exhibit excellent inter‑personal skills.
• Provide safe, quality patient care in the ward.

• Registered with SANC as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Preferably have two or more years of experience as an Enrolled Nurse in Maternity Ward.
• Prepared to do shift‑work (Night shift / Day Shift).

• Excellent telephone skills.
• Excellent inter‑personal skills.
• Work independently under minimum supervision.
• Excellent observation skills.
• Computer literate.

• Professionalism and initiative.
• Well‑spoken and respectful.
• Adhere to all company rules and policies.
