We’re looking for a proactive and reliable Facility Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure our sites run efficiently and professionally.

Job Summary

As a Facility Manager at Stor Box, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of our storage facilities. This includes facility maintenance, tenant relations, security oversight, and coordination with internal teams and external service providers to ensure a safe, clean, and well-managed environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the storage facility to ensure efficiency and compliance with company standards.
  • Ensure the facility is clean, secure, and well-maintained at all times.
  • Manage contractors and service providers (maintenance, security, cleaning, repairs).
  • Conduct regular site inspections and address maintenance issues promptly.
  • Handle customer queries, complaints, and on-site support professionally.
  • Monitor access control, security systems, and safety procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and incident logs.
  • Support the sales and operations teams with on-site coordination and facility readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.
Qualifications
  • Matric (Grade 12) required; a relevant degree or diploma is advantageous.
  • 3–5 years of experience in facility management, property management, operations, or a similar role.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
Bonus Points
  • Experience in storage, warehousing, logistics, or property management.
  • Knowledge of basic maintenance and facilities systems.
  • Experience managing vendors or contractors.
