Admitted Attorney – Conveyancing (Bonds & Cancellations)

Location: Durban (Kloof)
Salary: R20,000 – R25,000 CTC per month

We are seeking an Admitted Attorney with post-admission conveyancing experience, particularly in bonds and bond cancellations, to join a well-established legal practice servicing a UK-based client.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft legal documents using appropriate precedents and templates

Handle conveyancing matters with a focus on bonds and bond cancellations

Ensure all work complies with internal risk management policies and procedures, including GDPR requirements

Provide legal support to the team and act as a legal resource where required

Manage diaries for the team, ensuring all deadlines—especially post-completion—are met timeously

Undertake legal processes under supervision, including routine file management

Maintain accurate records and ensure files are updated correctly

Deliver consistently high levels of client service

Minimum Requirements:

Admitted Attorney (South Africa)

Approximately 1-year post-admission experience in conveyancing

Proven experience with bond registrations and bond cancellations

Strong drafting and organisational skills

High attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines

Professional, client-focused approach

Ability to work effectively within a team environment
