IT Asset Management

Overview

The incumbent resource / contractor or Service Provider will be required to apply their expert knowledge in IT Asset Management to assist with establishing an IT asset management capability through compiling an IT Asset management framework and defining the required governance structures, policy, standards, processes (with related roles and responsibilities) required to effectively implement and manage IT assets across globally. This will involve compiling a policy which is co-created and agreed with all relevant stakeholders, analysing current standards and processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing and implementing new processes that need to meet business requirements which are fit for purpose.

• Lead the drafting, review, finalization and approval of IT Asset Management framework, policies, standards, and processes
• Ensure the policies, standards and processes comply with industry regulations, best practices
• Ensure all supporting and dependency practices are defined and documented (E, g required configuration management practices)
• Attend required cadence with the Project team

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field required
• ITIL Expert Certified
• COBIT Certified
• Software Asset Management (expert level)
• Configuration Management
• Digital Technology affinitive (Cloud technologies/latest trends etc)
• Working knowledge of relevant methodology and tools - Service Now experience preferred
• Proven portfolio of completed projects (emphasis on ITIL Asset Management implementations)
• Advanced understanding of business functions, workflows, and processes
